Company Overview: Solartility Inc is a pioneering electricity retailer based in Calgary, dedicated to transforming the energy landscape in Alberta. As the first company to offer wholesale market prices to residential customers and provide 100% locally produced green energy at competitive rates, we are at the forefront of the green energy movement. Our services include sales of green electricity plans, solar systems, and Managed EV/ESS services, integrated within our innovative Virtual Power Plant.

Position Summary: We are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead our day-to-day operations and drive the growth of our sales, marketing, and customer support teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, the GM will play a crucial role in shaping our service delivery and expanding our market presence to ensure a sustainable and profitable future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales of our green electricity plans, solar systems, and Managed EV/ESS services.
• Lead and expand the sales, marketing, and customer support teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Streamline onboarding and support processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with utilities, solar installers, home builders, and other key stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Manage daily operations, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and compliance with regulatory standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a senior management role within the electricity retail or related industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in partnership development and stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding of the renewable energy market and regulatory environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing business landscape.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
